The hunt may be over. We have been developing a gnocchi dish over the last few months that is inspired by a favorite restaurant of ours in Carmel, California. We travelled there again recently and revisited their dish. But to my dismay, they are not using the same recipe and I suspect it is becasue the chef that invented the dish opened his own restaurant. However I believe I have finally reconstructed it and we now have a Spinach Gnocchi in a parmesan cream sauce as a side dish as well as an accompaniment to our chicken dish. I hope you get the chance to try it out and let us know what you think. The hunt may be over, but you get to decide.
Salmon season is over and we are now serving a great Pacific coast swordfish, flown in fresh to us from Santa Barbara, California. We serve it as an 8 ounce filet simply prepared and accompanied by our butternut squash rice pilaf, $29.00

Our list continues to represent many small production wineries that are still family owned. I will say it is harder than ever to find small producers of affordable Napa wines, as the cost per ton of Napa fruit just keeps going up.
